We went for a walk around the area yesterday afternoon, and got to see a great view of Lough Conn and Nephin mountain.

We were using a hairdryer for art today! We arranged lots of crayons in a sequence we like, stuck them to the top of a canvas, and then melted them. Here’s the results of our work.
We worked together today to make a ball gown using newspaper.We only had twenty minutes to do it, and here are the results. We had great fun. Rachel was our model for the task. She was a bit embarrassed at first but she was delighted with how it turned out.
It’s that time again. Summer holidays are coming to an end, and we have to get back to school. School will reopen on Monday 1st of September, at the earlier start time of 9 am. The school day will finish at 2.40 pm, and at 1.40 pm for infants. Looking forward to seeing everybody on Monday morning.
We went on our school tour yesterday. We went to the Foxford Woollen Mills where we learned all about the history of the mill, and we even got to see the modern looms working. We then went to Funnybones in Collooney, where we had something to eat, before being let loose for some climbing and running and jumping. Before we came home, we went to McDonalds in Sligo.
